Removing Financial Barriers, One Ticket at a Time: with the Dazey Pay It Forward scheme

At Yes She Cannes, we’re always looking for ways to make the industry feel more open, more supportive, and more accessible, especially for those who face financial challenges.

We always try to price our events as accessibly as possible, but we know that even then, it’s not always within reach for everyone.

Inspired by, and named after, talent agent Abbie Hills of Dazey Talent- one of the UK’s rising agents, known for her artist-first approach- we’re launching something to help tackle that.

Together, we’re introducing the Dazey Pay It Forward scheme- a simple, community-driven ticket system designed to help remove financial barriers and give more people access to what we’re offering.

The scheme launches with What Agents Notice in 30 Seconds (& Why Actors Get Rejected), a focused session led by Abbie Hills, sharing honest insight into how agents think and make decisions.

How it works

Standard ticket – £10

Dazey Pay It Forward ticket – £15

This covers your place and contributes toward a £5 supported ticket for another person who might not otherwise be able to attend.

As pay-it-forward tickets are purchased, we’ll release the £5 supported tickets in small batches. That means every extra bit of support directly helps someone else access the same opportunity.

It’s a small system, but one built on a shared belief: access to knowledge, connections, and opportunity shouldn’t depend on your bank balance.

Our aim is to grow this model across future workshops and events, so more people can benefit over time.

Dazey Pay it Forward: Part of our ongoing effort to make opportunities more accessible, wherever we can.
